I am Edith Dening. It is important to me that you feel safe and cared for in a supportive and accepting environment.
When dealing with adult individuals, couples, or younger children and teens, I understand the everyone needs to be respected and heard. It is my belief that everyone has a story to tell, and has a desire to be connected to those around them. At times life can be a struggle, and coping skills or strategies for positive communication are not working effectively. Everyday challenges can too much at times, and when there is no where to go, feelings of helplessness and being stuck can be very overwhelming. At Dening Counselling, my goal is to bring hope and change by giving you the tools to understand yourself and to provide you with strategies to communicate effectively. Developing self-awareness and self-compassion for oneself are critical steps towards inner healing and bringing about a fuller life.
