Lady in Pink Care

Description

Since I was a young child, my mom brought my sister and I with her to visit elderly or unwell friends in their homes and/or at care facilities. I enjoyed this interaction, and continued the practice with my own three daughters. We would visit, help, sing, play piano, and just enjoy each others company. I have also fully enjoyed working in children's programs, fostering children in our home, and co-ordinating community events with people of all ages.
My daughters all continued their education in the health field, and as I watched them going through school and, in time, into the work force, I thought I would like to do the same! I attended Bow Valley College's Health Care Aide program in Calgary, enjoyed it thoroughly, and am proud to say, did very well :). I completed my clinical practice at a Care Facility and my preceptor-ship at an Adult Day Program. I love putting my education into practice on my own and putting my heart into it! My motto is "Helping Others Maintain Healthy, Happy, and Independent Lives".
