I have been a massage therapist since 2007. Since then each year I have taken courses to specialize in pre-natal and post-natal massage, labour and delivery support therapy and infant massage.
My other specialty is in a technique called Fluid Isometrics, which releases fascia, a connective tissue throughout the body. When frozen, or out of alignment it causes many of our symptoms and imbalances. A few examples are stretch marks, pain, torqued joints and weight issues. Over the past three years I have been invited to be a part of multiple births ranging from high-risk birth at the hospital to water births at the new birth center in Winnipeg. I am excited to hear and be a part of your journey as you get ready, labour and meet your new little one skin to skin for the first time. It is my pleasure after all of that to show you how to massage your precious little one and witness the growing bond and confidence you will have your baby.
