My name is Bob Gantchev. I am Toronto based photographer and videographer.
I am a husband and father of two wonderful girls and have been a fan of photography for years. I have graduated in photography and visual arts and gained experience in a portrait studio setup. Some weekends I assisted in weddings as a second shooter, then continued on my own as freelancer. In 2001 I started Bridington photography, specializing in weddings, engagement and family photography. I also have shot individual and corporate portraits, real estate, industrial and commercial photography. Over the years my love for photography slowly evolved into movie making and I recently expanded my services, offering videography and post editing. My style of wedding photography is fairly fluid as it is, after all, a wedding is not a photo shoot. I am passionate about capturing the spirit and natural emotions of the events as they occur. Sharing the fun and festivities without being intrusive or controlling, I delicately blend into the background when needed to portray a true unique and creative record of your day. There is a little instructing during the creative shoot but for the rest of the day it is reportage photography. I document the day as it happens, capturing real moments with an eye for every detail. My goal is to present you with a true and natural record of all that happens with each and every emotion - the happy, the hugs, the laughter and the tears - to show you what you were too distracted to see and all from an observers perspective!
