Star Walkers is located just west of Leduc, Alberta. In 1997 we bought our first two Tennessee Walking Horses. And since then we have never looked back. We absolutely love the breed! Nothing can compare with their awesome temperaments and smooth ground-covering gaits.
Star Walkers is dedicated to raising and training a few well gaited Walking Horses with nice personalities for show, trail, and pleasure. We have horses of all ages and riding experience available for sale. At Star Walkers we offer private and semi-private lessons for the first time rider up to intermediate riders. We strive to provide a fun and engaging environment that is safe for our students to learn in. Our goal is to create independent, confident, and knowledgeable students who will continue to enjoy horses throughout their lives. Star Walkers provides quality instruction by Nicole Hirsekorn, an Equine Canada Certified Instructor. Nicole has experience training and showing throughout Alberta with experience in both English and Western disciplines. One of the primary goals of Star Walkers is to introduce riders to gaited horses, particularly the Tennessee Walking Horse. Several lesson horses are available for all levels of riders. Lesson horses are available for students to lease. And we have a show team that students can join so they have an opportunity to show Tennessee Walking Horses throughout Alberta. Star Walkers offers training primarily focusing on natural moving Tennessee Walking Horses. Other breeds are welcome.
