From our studio at the border of Kanata and Stittsville, we help our students succeed in their chosen instrument and in life. We look beyond their weekly music lessons, and develop lasting relationships with our students. We recommend performance opportunities outside the school. We prep them for auditions and shows, musical theatre, coffee houses, talent shows and more. This is not your ordinary music school. We build lifelong supportive relationships with our students - helping them achieve their goals musically and support their creative endeavours in every way possible. Our 5 year achievement awards are the best testament to how much our students love how we teach. Cathy Hallessey and Brian Brodersen are the owners and the only teachers at U-Rock. Both have extensive music education credentials in music theory and sound engineering, and both are also skilled and experienced lifelong performers. They teach what they love and it shows in their award-winning student roster, year after year.
