Tony Craparotta worked as a butcher for 30 years before meeting his wife Vira, who with chef Raffaele are the creative kitchen team behind Tony's on the Block. Located in the heart of Forest Hill, Tony’s is a cross between fine gourmet food and the familiar Italian restaurant you frequent. Their loyalty to making healthy choices and choosing local farmers, along with their dedication to the community, makes them an excellent choice for any of your fresh food needs. All of the meat has been federally inspected, Halal-Kosher, grain-fed, and hormone, steroid, and antibiotic free. More importantly, their food comes from local Ontario farmers which means your food is always fresh! All prepared foods are made from Tony’s meat, and their soups are low-sodium, low fat and made from scratch, without any preservatives.
