Soma Chocolatemaker is one of the few artisan chocolatemakers in North America making chocolate in small batches directly from the cocao bean. We buy our cocoa beans from plantations around the world including Canacado from the Dominican Republic, organic Sambirano from Madagascar organic from Costa Rica & Panama. Visitors to Soma become immersed in a world of chocolate and can see the workings of a micro-chocolate factory with viewing windows that showcase chocolatemakers busy making truffles, a line of traditional italian cookies, and our intoxicating drinking chocolate.
