Enchanter Bed and Breakfast is located 2 hours and 43 minutes north of Vancouver, BC, in beautiful Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast. Our uniquely built geodesic home has three lovely suites, with magnificent harbour views, private entrances, ensuite bathrooms, cable TV, DVD, wireless internet. A half hour drive away is world famous Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park with its reverse tidal waters. Enjoy hiking, kayaking, boating, golfing, swimming, etc. Your hosts, Michel and Helen, enjoy sharing their little paradise & feel confident that you will have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Being of European ancestry we also speak French and Schwyzerdütsch.
Enchanter Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful, uniquely constructed geodesic home in a serene parklike setting. It is ideally perched to provide wonderful views of the harbour, and is surrounded by towering cedar trees, beautiful gardens, a natural stream and pond, resident deer and elk, and often has eagles flying overhead. Pender Harbour's huge, protected deep harbour with many intriguing bays, coves, and islands is often called the "Venice of the North". It is truly "a bit paradise" with some of the best diving, kayaking, and hiking to be found anywhere. In addition to the ocean, pristine fresh water lakes offer swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing, trout fishing and waterskiing. The three elegantly designed suites have magnificent views of the harbour, private entrances, ensuite bathrooms, cable TV, DVD, wireless internet and an outdoor hottub. Outside the suites is a never ending veranda deck for relaxing, watching the harbour and the beautiful sunsets. Our little paradise offers fabulous hikes such as Pender Hill and Mount Daniel, which give you views across the Malaspina Strait to Vancouver Island. Other hikes in the area include the newly constructed Suncoast Trail, world famous Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park, Francis Point Marine Park, Sakinaw Outflow, and many more hikes too numerous to mention. Only half hour drive away is the world famous Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park with its rainforest, ebb tide and reverse tidal waters. Walk in through rainforest to view the swirl pools created by the ebb tide, or walk in on a flood to view the spectacular reverse tidal rapids, some of the fastest in the world. Being surrounded by water, both fresh water and salt water, lends itself to numerous water activities such as kayaking,paddle boarding, boating and swimming.
