Tim’s “By the River” Campground is situated beside the Salmon River, between the towns of Vernon and Falkland, British Columbia, Canada. 30 private spaces (separated by Cottonwood and Cedar trees as well as Saskatoon and other wild bushes) are available for recreational vehicles plus additional room for tenting. A large camping area sits at the centre of the campground.
Tim’s “By the River” Campground is a sanctuary for many birds and wildlife. The Salmon River drains a 1500 km2 area to Shuswap Lake, which in turn drains to the South Thompson and down the Fraser River. In the late summer, salmon can be found spawning in its shallows. The Salmon River Watershed Group works to achieve and maintain a healthy river and restore the Salmon run. Log jams on the river create deep swimming holes. Contact us today!
