I have been a home inspector for many years, worked as a site supervisor for McPhearson builders of Toronto and Sommerville Homes of London, I operate an eave company called The Eave Doctor. The inspections take aprox. 2-3 hours to complete. The report is computor generated onsite, this gives you the information you need to possibly make one of the biggest purchases you will make.
