My husband and I tried this restaurant shortly after arriving in the city. I was excited to try it as an ex-brit who is always looking for something like the fish and chips back home. The fish was good from here, the mushy peas were pretty tasty but the chips/fries were pretty average. The store is pretty basic when it comes to decor which is expected for a fish and chip shop but the waiting time seemed far longer than I would expect and certainly longer than any of the other fish n chip places I have been to. The only saving grace about the wait time is that the owner is chatty and friendly. It's not somewhere I would go out of my way to visit again but if I were in the vicinity and had called ahead with an order, then I would give it another shot. I much prefer Joey's seafood restaurants and if you want a real treat, check out Fergie's Fish and Chips in the forks. They are much tastier!
