The Mondial butcher shop has over 20 years of existence. The family business
was founded in 1993 by Mr.Joaquin Castillo and his wife Mrs. Martha Melendez on the street corner of Mozart and Henri-Julien in Montreal, being the only latin-american butcher shop of his time whit the best latino beef cuts. In 2000,Mr.Joaquin dies and his wife takes over and becomes the sole owner. Since 2000,Mrs. Martha Melendez and her three sons have worked hard and thanks to the support of the customers they took the decision to move to a largest local located in one of the most important market in Montreal. Over time ,the place became one of the main meeting points where the hispanicand quebec community occurs for the same reason and the reason is to purchase a wide variety of commodities to prepare the best latin-american dishes.In addition to the butchery,in the same local , you also find a mini restaurant where we prepare traditional food that makes our customers feel like they are still on vacation.
