Welcome to Hillel Lodge, Ottawa's Jewish Home for the Aged. The Bess and Moe Greenberg Family Hillel Lodge is a publicly-funded long-term care facility. We are located in the Joseph and Inez Zelikovitiz Centre in the heart of Ottawa's 13-acre Jewish Community Campus. Our mission is to meet the needs of seniors who can no longer live independently, by providing residential long-term care and other support services in a traditional Jewish environment. Based on our guiding principles as well as the Torah commandment to honour thy father and mother, residents are the most important focus of our attention and ongoing efforts. Our work in providing our residents with the highest possible standards for care has been recognized by an independent examining body, Accreditation Canada, which has awarded Hillel Lodge accreditation status with an outstanding score, one rarely granted to comparable long-term care organizations. Admission to the Lodge is through a government agency, the Community Care Access Centre of Ottawa. Hillel Lodge has Jewish and non-Jewish residents. --------------------- Make a Donation! While we are dedicated to maintaining these high standards of care, programs and services, Ontario government funding does not pay all our bills.
