Owen Chambers is licenced as a Paralegal with The Law Society of Upper Canada. He initially began a career in the police force when he enlisted in the Jamaica Constabulary Force in 1967. After completing training, he had the opportunity to work in various areas of Police work. He gradually rose to the rank of Detective in 1972 and resigned in 1975.
In 1976, Owen migrated to Canada when he joined the Toronto Police Services. After completing his training, he was assigned to uniform duties which included investigations, issuing traffic tickets and summons.
Owen also competed many additional courses provided by the Police colleges. This granted him the knowledge to work in various areas of the Police Services. In 1984, he resigned to pursue private enterprises.
In 1991, Owen Chambers returned to the legal profession as a Court Agent representing people in court with traffic matters.
In 2008, he was licenced as a Paralegal with the Law Society of Upper Canada. He is also appointed by the Province of Ontario as a Commissioner for taking Oaths and Affidavits in regarding matters with the paralegal scope of practice within Ontario.
