Relining Dentures is required when bone and tissues change, due to shrinkage, weight loss, sickness or disease and general ageing. Many people think dentures last forever, unfortunately NOT. Someone with just an upper for instance, the denture should last sometimes 2-5 years. Then complete denture wearers, should replace theirs, every 5 years, but in some cases, 7 to 10 years.
