From past experience, we know that not everyone requires a legal professional to handle their case from start to finish and although a lawyer can assist in any area of law, it can be more costly to hire a lawyer than a paralegal therefore; this is why we will assist your personal needs at any given stage of your legal matter. Most of these services are provided on a flat rate fee schedule which will be made available to you before deciding to retain us for your legal matter. The paralegal profession is regulated by the Law Society of Upper Canada just as lawyers are. Both paralegals and lawyers are expected to operate in a professional and ethical manner as set out by the ethical standards of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
