Description
The Winnipeg Boys' Choir is an auditioned group dedicated to high-quality music making and vocal training in a convivial atmosphere. Founded in 1925, it is the second oldest choral ensemble still singing in Winnipeg today, and much the oldest amongst the city's children's and youth choirs. It is an ideal place to nurture young male voices as they sing their way from developing treble through the voice change and beyond, to become strong tenors or basses ready to move on to adult choirs.
The choir performs regularly with the city's finest professional and amateur ensembles, including the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and Camerata Nova.
