Teaching riding in a fun, educational and safe environment is the goal of our riding school.
Managed by Christy Zerygiewicz and assisted by Emma Bradbury. Christy brings a lifetime of horsemanship and riding experience in dressage, show jumping and eventing to the school. Emma Bradbury, a CPC B level instructor/ rider, brings her riding skills and academic teacher's training experience to the operation as our head riding instructor for the school. Our programs are designed to teach beginner students to ride with a strong foundation in the basics and intermediate and advanced students to develop their riding ability. Many of our graduates have gone on to enjoy success in competitive sport. Woodwind South is a modern facility located 11 min. north of Barrie and 45 min. up Hwy 400 from Toronto. Conveniently located near cottage country. Our lesson programs are run in our large bright indoor arena and outdoor school, so lessons run rain or shine all year long. The stable amenities include a large big indoor lounge complete with viewing of the arena, classroom, full washroom and fully equipped kitchen. The stable, lounge and tack room are heated for year round comfort. We run 6 semesters, 8 weeks each, commencing on Sunday, January 4th and summer camp programs for all levels to learn to ride or develop their skills. Book a complimentary assessment lesson!
