Marguerite Arbour has been offering yoga in Riverdale for twenty years.
Classes are in the beautiful community room of The Bain Co-Op at the south end of Withrow Park. Marguerite was certified by Esther Myers in 1993. Classes are open to drop in: Monday Evening : 6pm to 7:30 Tuesday Morning 10am to 11:30 Wednesday /Thursday Call for scheduled Private class(es) Marguerite designs private and small group practices to suit the needs and times of her clients Please be in touch for a consultation: cancer care /injury rehabilitation/ weight loss/ illness Marguerite also teaches Wellness Yoga to cancer patients at Toronto's Wellspring (www.wellspring.ca ). She works at their downtown location and at Sunnybrook hospital. Classes are designed to encourage stress relief and develop strength and fliexibility and to promote healing from within. Marguerite also teaches Corporate Wellness Yoga to the staff at Bridgepoint Health. Bridgepoint Health is a progressive Rehabilitation/Palliative care hospital that has a wellness program for their staff.

I was taking a yoga class and found it difficult. there were so many poses and I became so obsessed with getting them all right that I wasn't enjoying the class at all. A friend recommended trying Marguerite's classes, and what a difference it made.Within two classes Marguerite knew exactly what to do for me. she taught me that yoga was about breathing and being connected to my body and focusing on what I could do and slowly I would work up to do more.
