Welcome to Canadian Residential Inspection Services
My name is Richard Zyp and I am the Owner/Operator of the franchise in St. Albert/Edmonton NW. I have a background in home renovations and carpentry. Specifically finishing work and framing. I have also been a landlord and real estate investor. Other skills that I bring to the job with me are my focused powers of observation. These have been established and sharpened by many years as a photographer and film maker. Canadian Residential Inspection Services (“CRIS”) has been providing high quality, professional home inspections in Canada for 25 years! I personally have been in this business since 2005, and have completed over 2500, local area, inspections. We have franchises in seven provinces. CRIS St Albert has also recently taken delivery of an Infra Red Thermal Imaging camera. I am now a Certified Building Thermographer. This will help to increase our diagnostic capabilities and will widen the scope of our skill set. I carry full E&O insurance, which also covers you, the referring agent, and the vendor. I am a member of the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors and adhere to their Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Through that association and other independent sources, I continue to upgrade my knowledge in all aspects of the home building industry. Richard B.
