Description
The Horseless Carriage Museum is a privately-owned museum specializing in pre-1914 transporation and turn-of-the-century mechanical antiquities. We feature an 1899 Stanley Steam Car and an 1895 Sawyer & Massey steam traction Engine. This year an 1878 Penny Farthing Bicycle has been added to the transportation display. See and hear examples from our mechanical music machine collection, and more. Browse and choose a handmade gift or local treat from the setting of our 1890's General Store.
Buses and group tours are welcome. We are open 10AM to 4PM, May to October. By chance or by appointment. Please call ahead or check our website for updates.
