Welcome to Caballus Ranch! My name is Kendra Wharton and I am the owner/operator. Growing up in Toronto, I was lucky to have been around horses, taking lessons, attending summer camps and attending schooling shows in the hunter/jumper ring from a very young age. At age 13, my love my love of reining horses began, showing with the ORHA and NRHA in Canada and the USA. In 2009 after graduating high school, I attended Colorado State University - Farriery Science taught by the late Steve Mellin. I stayed in Colorado for an extra year to apprentice under Neil Miller, and expert in shoeing the reining horse. I finished my formal education in Farriery in Martinsville, Virginia, at the famous Danny Ward Horseshoeing School. Contact me today for more information.
