Description
Maternal and family counselling is my primary client base. I provide individual or family counselling and parenting support.
I specialize in pregnancy and postpartum mental health including issues related to infertility, miscarriage/loss, adoption, surrogacy, pregnancy complications, changes in relationships, and adjusting to parenthood. I received my Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University. I am a Registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience engaging with children and families.
Perinatal mental health issues can impact anyone, and they are more common than you may think. 1 in 5 women experience pregnancy or postpartum mental health issues, as well as 1 in 10 men. We hear frequently about postpartum depression, however postpartum anxiety is also very prevalent. I understand, and am here for you.
Babies are welcome! I also provide home-based services in appropriate situations.
