I want to support my clients through their recovery. I want to assist them in a non-judgmental environment to take the steps that will bring about healing in their lives and the lives of their loved ones. Compulsive behaviours, drugs, gambling, sex, overeating, video games, internet, pornography, alcohol… It doesn’t matter what the addiction is; what matters is how much it hurts you and your life. As a certified addictions counsellor and program manager at one of Ontario’s leading residential addiction treatment centers, my training and experience allows me to provide my clients with top quality expertise and resources developed by working with people suffering from various addictions. I continue to develop my skill set through additional education in order to provide my clients with the best care possible. I graduated with honours from Georgian College’s post graduate Addiction Treatment and Prevention program and I am a Canadian Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor (CCADC) with the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF). Furthermore, I am a Certified Sex Addiction Counsellor Candidate (CSAT cand.) with the globally recognized International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). Additionally I am a Certified Coach Practitioner with the Certified Coaches Federation and a Licensed Workshop Facilitator/Coach for the bestselling book: Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway. I have earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Windsor and am currently completing my Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
