I was born and raised in Lynden, a very small rural community located in Hamilton-Wentworth bordering on Brant County. Today my home town is much as it was when I was a little girl. The focus of our fun was baseball and biking in the Summer and skating/hockey during the Winter. I forged life-long friendships there and I truly cherish these. After attending High School in Dundas, I took a business course and started my working career with an Insurance and Estate Planning office in Brantford. Over the years I have enjoyed many diversified opportunities, having worked in both medical and legal offices, and ultimately found myself working with Residential Appraisers and Real Estate Offices. So, the transition to Real Estate Sales seemed a natural path. I have two grown Sons, one who has a rewarding career working as a Computer Generated Cutter Grinder for a large manufacturer supporting the automotive and aviation fields. And my younger son is in London England working with BUPA, a major healthcare provider throughout the UK. I am very proud of both my sons. I’ll tell you a secret, though, I am anxiously awaiting Grandchildren! But today, it seems careers come first and family later, so I shall remain patient. I started by Real Estate career with Coldwell Banker Homefront Realty in Brantford , where I continue to enjoy strong ties with my former clients, colleagues, and broker. My move to the Niagara Region came in April of 2010 and since then I have been familiarizing myself with the neighbourhoods and market trends here. Consider yourself very lucky to live in such a beautiful area! I love the abundance of hiking trails and vineyards, shopping and proximity to the Buffalo Airport. Not to mention the natural beauty everywhere you turn. I have been especially struck with the warmth of the residents here. Everyone welcomes you with a warm “Hello”. After very little deliberation, I decided to join Royal LePage Niagara Real Estate Centre. Following a meeting with Brad Johnstone, my Broker, it was clear that this Brokerage has very strong ethics and strives to provide the best service possible to their clientele. Training and coaching is a very large part of their philosophy and they are highly community minded. I am proud to be associated with the Corporate Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, as well as the many other charitable efforts that we partake in on a local level. This year we launched a Niagara Wide Food Drive at many of the grocery outlets. We collected approximately 15, 000 lbs of food in just one day for all the needy families in the region. So THANK YOU Niagara for your generosity. It was a huge success and we look forward to getting bigger and bigger each year!
