Hello, my name is Amanda Youssef, founder of Valley Connections Counselling, and Registered Psychotherapist, providing support to couples, individuals. and groups. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, and I am LGBTQIA positive.
People come to me when they are facing relationship difficulties or break ups, postpartum challenges, depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, and difficulties with life transitions; problems that impact most of us at different stages of our lives. I utilize evidence-based counselling approaches that fit each individual client or couple, and their respective goals. I see counselling and psychotherapy as a collaborative journey and process, which I navigate together with my clients. I help people to deepen their own wisdom and develop skills so they can better face life’s challenges, heal wounds, and grow.
