Aces K-9 Academy

Description

Aces K-9 Academy is a balanced dog training facility. We offer in home training sessions for those who would prefer one on one training time with their dogs as well as group lessons for those who want the extra socialization with other dogs and common distractions.
Aces K-9 Academy holds three week basic obedience classes, and immediately following the option of enrolling in a two week advanced obedience class. Group basic obedience classes are twice a week for three weeks for one hour in the evenings, a total of six sessions. We run two basic obedience classes at once to ensure you are getting the days that work best for you. We run one class on Monday and Wednesday nights for three weeks, and the other class is on Tuesday and Thursday nights for three weeks. This allows us to keep each group class small so we can focus more on specifics, and give you the one on one attention you deserve. Running two classes at once allows us to have room in our classes to teach all who are interested, without having them wait until the next session which runs a month later. Group classes are a max of six people and a minimum of three. Classes will not run if we do not reach our minimum, and if only one class fills up, and the other class only has one signed up, you may be asked to switch from your Tuesday and Thursday night class to our Monday and Wednesday night class or vice versa. Evening class times and locations are TBA, but times will most likely will be 7-8pm, depending on hall rental availability. The first class will include registration and a live demonstration, so it will be an hour and a half, but all classes following will only be one hour in length. Advanced obedience classes are twice a week for two weeks for one hour in the evenings, a total of four sessions. To enroll in our advanced obedience classes, you must first have taken the basic obedience. In home training sessions will be scheduled by contacting us so we can arrange a schedule that works with you and us. In home training sessions begin with basic obedience and if requested we can follow up with advanced obedience. In home training will also focus on one on one problems with your dog, or certain areas you feel the need for improvement. (ex. running away, biting, behavioral issues, teaching the retrieve etc.).
