19 Fraserwood Ave,Business details
Description
Listening Hands opened in Toronto in 2009.
Prior to this, our therapist, Leah Karp (formerly Kahn), was practicing Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy in Israel (Yerushalayim and Ramat Beit Shemesh). Leah has been involved in therapeutic bodywork for more than 13 years. She trained as a Holistic Health Practictioner specializing in massage therapy prior to joining a three-year program in Biodyniamic Craniosacral therapy, which she graduated in 2006. She is a member of the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America and is licensed as a Holistic Practitioner by the City of Toronto.
Many clients appreciate Craniosacral therapy as a powerful means of reducing stress and tension. Leah works only with women and children. Her clients have come for support with headaches, leg pain, knee pain, back pain, neck pain, jaw pain, eczema, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, pregnancy, fertility issues, intestinal problems, sleeping difficulties and emotional issues.
Making it a priority to truly listen to each client, Leah is sensitive to their words, their presence, their body’s motion and its stillness. With her hands, she listens to her clients’ bodies, and with the help of Hashem, this facilitates a very profound healing space.
