Please kindly allow us to educate you on your current options for in-floor heating, we spent a full year studying everything about insulation materials and heating systems, here is what we have found. 1. Hydronic Boiler system (too expensive to install, can’t be retrofitted unless another layer of concrete is added, requires annual maintenance on the pump and has a short life expectancy, the boilers lifecycle is about 16 years) 2. Electric Systems (Not too expensive, have been used for a long time and they work. Here is some interesting information about the market: all major in-floor heating companies use the same technology: a tinned copper core dual conductor heating wire that is manufactured in China or India; Schluter’s Ditra system, Warmzone, Nuheat, Wormlyyours & True Comfort sold through HOME DEPOT, Suntouch sold through RONA & LOWES in Canada all use the same system. Some companies dress up the same technology a little better than others. We made a decision to try and find a better product, and by importing a new heating system from the Netherlands and comparing it to local competition we did just that. 3. Electric system 2.0 (Amorphous Ribbon from the Netherlands) - 30% more efficient, which means 30% lower operating costs - A ribbon has a higher surface area than a wire resulting in faster heating - We have exclusive distribution rights for Western Canada and deal directly with the factory, no middle man (This means we install these systems at a relatively low price) How much to have you do an installation in my basement? $9/Sq.Ft. What do I get for paying $9/Sq.Ft.? - Insulation - Electric system 2.0 heating mats to cover 90% of surface area - Installation of the entire system - All electrical work including an Electrical Permit for the project from a Master Electrician - Great Customer Service (We don’t take this one lightly) Do I get a warranty for this fancy system? - 3 Years parts and labor warranty Can you provide references for your completed projects? - Absolutely, as many as you would like.
