I'm a working professional makeup artist in Calgary. A Vancouver Film School graduate, I have worked in Alberta Film/TV since 2004 and as part of an Emmy Award Winning Makeup Department in IATSE 212.
The variance of freelancing is what drives me to stay engaged. What other occupation could allow me to paint horses, create intestines, or cover a newborn in pie filling? While high definition commercial, corporate and production work keeps me busy, I absolutely still enjoy wedding and boudoir makeups and the personal experiences that come with them. Over the years I have developed a knack for speed and adaptability. As an Individualist/Reformer/Enthusiast on the Enneagram scale, I believe these personality characteristics aid me in excelling with what I love to do. When I'm not working you'll find me with my soon- to -be- hubby Garry, in a thrift store or on a snowboard or bicycle. Most importantly, WELCOME to YOU, and thanks for stopping in.
